This is a simple poem inspired by a two word phrase that I've prayed many times before God. To Him be the glory!
When simplest utterance besiege Your throne
May You take what is Christ's and make Him known
To my heart and into my life May Your renown spread far
For You are my hope and bright Morning Star
With two little words of petition I plea
May the ministry of Your Spirit go beyond what I can see
For it's by grace thru faith that I have been saved
And by Your love that I stay on this narrow way
So Lord, teach me when my words are few
That I can trust You by pressing thru
May Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven
Purge me that I may eat of the bread of sincerity and not of leaven
I love you, Lord. So in my reflection may I behold
Wondrous light from your glory untold!
