I just finished an Andrew Murray work on humility and thought I would post
some take-away quotes I gleaned from his book.

'"Just as water always seeks and fills the lowest place, so the moment God finds
men abased and empty, His glory and power flow in to exalt and to bless."

"Humility before God is nothing if not proved in humility before men."

"Let us choose to be weak, to be low, to be nothing. Let humility be joy and
gladness to us."

"Take every opportunity of humbling yourself before God and man. Look to
the light that conscience flashes on pride of the heart and its workings."

"Accept with gratitude everything that God allows from within or without,
friend or enemy, in nature or in grace, to remind you of your need of humbling,
and to help you to it."
